What to write about
- Bug reports — if the converter produces an obviously wrong MIDI file (silence, garbage notes, crash), tell me the browser and OS you're using, and describe the input audio (e.g. "vocal recording from a phone, ~30 seconds").
- Feature requests — suggestions for controls, export formats, or workflow improvements.
- Privacy / data questions — anything about what the site does or doesn't collect. The Privacy Policy is the short version.
- Anything else — general questions, partnership ideas, or takedown requests.
Response time
This is a small, independent project run by one person. I aim to reply within a few business days. If your message is time-sensitive (for example, a takedown request), please say so in the subject line.
What I will not do over email
- Run paid transcription jobs. MakeItMidi is a free tool; if you need a polished result, a professional transcriber or a paid polyphonic engine will serve you better.
- Recover lost files. Your audio is processed locally in your browser and never reaches a server, so there is nothing on my end to recover.
